General Meeting and AGM
The next general meeting of the PHA (NT) will be held at 4:30 PM on Tuesday, 16 August 2011 at the University Conference Room in Building Orange 6, level 3.
The general meeting will be followed by the AGM, the Agenda for which has already been circulated.
2011 History Colloquium
MAGNT Theatrette, Darwin

This year's annual History Colloquium will be held on Saturday 29 October 2011 in the theatre of the Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory, Bullocky Point, Darwin. The annual history colloquium is organised by the Professional Historians Association (NT) in collaboration with the Centre for Environmental History at The Australian National University and Charles Darwin University. The Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory are generously supporting the event.
Staff members and/or postgraduate students from The Australian National University, Charles Darwin University, the Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory and members of the Professional Historians Association (NT) are invited to make presentations of either twenty minutes (with ten additional minutes for questions and discussion) or forty minutes (with twenty additional minutes for questions and discussion) each in any field of History or a related area (such as cultural heritage studies, historical archaeology, history of tourism, history of education, environmental history, legal history, medical/nursing history, history of music or art history). History postgraduate students in the School of Creative Arts and Humanities at Charles Darwin University are strongly encouraged to present papers.
Please email Dr Stephen Farram steven.farram@cdu.edu.au BEFORE 2 SEPTEMBER 2011 with a proposed title and your preference for either forty or twenty minutes if you wish to make a presentation. Postgraduate students from The Australian National University should make initial contact with Professor Tom Griffiths in the Research School of Social Sciences.
